Workshop - July 7th, 2018 h 10.30 am - Booking required, cost 15€ per person
The workshop starts from the individual perception of the body touching the floor and develops with exercises focused on listening to the relationship with the other. The search dives deeply into the discovery of new movements coming from the observation of the personal emotional-motoric feelings that result from the interaction with another person
Both Gustave Klimt and Egon Schiele’s embrace paintings let transpire contradictory feelings that border between the desire for companionship and an impatience coming from the very same companionship.
The aim of the workshop is to focus the attention on the quality of contact and to take advantage of whatever sensations it inspires within ourselves to develop new movements and new partnering scenarios. It’s a type of work on the embrace in all its endless possibilities.
The workshop’s length is 2 hours.
The workshop is hosted by Leonardo Diana, coreographer and performer with Versiliadanza from Florence. Leonardo is also one of the artists in the performance Egon - Site Specific taking place on July 6th, for more info click here.
