Red Sun formed in March 2014 after a long night jams under the starry sky of Albone, a tiny village in the province of Piacenza (Italy), and open the first Desert Fox Fest the following May. The trio is composed by Stefano ”ENO” on guitar, Mirco on bass and Federico ”Fredo” on drums and synth, serves an original mix of psychedelia and space instrumental rock.

red sun artOn the plot woven by bass and drums, is the guitar that among powerful riffs and dilated solos, wraps everything with dreamlike architectures. The sound trips of the Red Sun flow into the first disc, recorded by Andrea ”Drew” Scansani in february 2015 and released in september 2015 for the DesertFoxRecords, entitled "Triosophy". The musical concept pursued by the band is the search for a unique sound, clear and powerful to hear and internalize, a sound that gives shape to the vision behind each song. Triosophy has been well reviewed by many music magazines and loved by a lot of people in Italy and abroad.

In March 2017, the band decided that was the time for a new album. In the small and cozy rehearsal room of the Albone old mill, the 7 tracks of "The Wind, The Waves, The Clouds" have been recorded with Andrea ”Drew” Scansani. The choice to record in the band's rehearsal room comes from the desire to capture is to mean the will to capture the energy and the atmosphere of the songs in the same place where they were conceived during the last months.

Meanwhile, three new tracks that were recorded at SpaceWolf Studios in Wells, during the enthusiastic U.K. Summer tour 2017, take part of the fourth episode of the Psychedelic Battles. The vinyl split with the american band "The Luck of Eden Hall" has been released by Vincebus Eruptum, an italian label from Savona, which has been active for years in the psychedelic underground.
