Alessandria // Downtown Funk, Spaghetti Jazz, Rock'n'Roll

The Mamasuya born in 2009 and make up a prestigious trio of professional musicians able to move deftly in soundscapes that roam from jazz to psychedelia.

In 2011 the band released their first self-titled album "Mamasuya" that gets very good review by very important Italian paper and foreign works. Following the important meeting with Johannes Faber and Andrea Tripodi, the artistic vein of Mamasuya adds new sounds and leads to the creation of a new project with an identity increasingly strong and ambitious. Thus was born " Mexican Standoff ".

"Mexican Standoff" is a place where the strong influence of Morricone's Spaghetti Western
soundtrack are transported in our modern days, where moments of tension, stasis and apathy are the everyday's rule of our age.

Romantically we can imagine the atmosphere and magic of this record as a concrete hallucination flash.
"Mexican Standoff" is the soundtrack of a psychedelic research on the music of the last century.
